Refelctions
Finding ways to get to students to learn and be creative is has forced teachers to become more creative themselves. In the age of short attention spans, it has become more difficult for teachers and trainers to keep the focus of their students. Research has shown that when a student is able to be creative learning tends to improve. My Google Docs assignment promoted collaboration and engagement by letting the students edit the documents that were previously created by the instructor. Google Docs includes a featrue that allows users to leave comments or instructions in certain places in the document. Any collaborators on the document can then see the comments can make adjustments and then comment back to the original poster.
The assignment that featured Google Slides was a tutorial for PearDeck, and it teaches how to make a standard Google Slide presentation more exciting. PearDeck is a tool that gives more creative control on how teachers present their lessons in Google Slides. Pear Deck allows the teacher to share their presentation to their entire classroom, which then allows them to ask questions and get anonymous responses. This increases student creativity and individuality.
Padlet is a good way for students to share and collaborate in a non-traditional forum-like setting. Users of Padlet are able to notes that resemble sticky notes that other people that are attached to the Padlet can see. With Padlet, you can leave other files as well, including: pictures, videos, documents and weblinks. The Padlet tutorial site give step-by-step directions for someone to use Padlet. The course website I created, " Google Apps in the Classroom", included all the tools necessary for the students to get assignments and collaborate with others to complete them.

Future Learning Goals
I currently teach a Google Apps in the Classroom course to K12 teachers as an adjunt professer at Southwest MS Community College. Creating the site really gave me some ideas that could help my teaching. I plan on using the site I created as a model to teach my course from and I plan on enhancing it with even more tools. It even inspired me to create my own tutorial site, which is located at www.krimsynntech.com. The goal is to keep it updated with the latest Google App tips and tricks and stay current. I hope it will be a valuable resource that teachers and other Google App users can use and rely on when they need.
